In early 2022, DatChat Inc. showcased a brand-new social networking and commercial metaverse, Habytat, for users to acquire virtual property and interact with each other. The internet is losing its mind with anticipation of AI pets coming to this virtual world.
Adopt dogs and cats, and have these animals bond with you while the AI responds to and follows your actions. While anticipating the launch this Spring 2023, users can head on to the website to vote for which animal breeds they want to be part of this metaverse. Nurture your pet from puppy or kitten through its life stages, all the way to adulthood. Spoil them with toys, train them to respond to your commands, feed them delicious treats, and watch them flourish into the most ideal pets. As you progress as a property and pet owner, your pets will get more and more comfortable with their Habytat home. They will have chosen their favourite toys and places to lay. You will need to teach them where they can or cannot go in your Habytat home.
Initially, it seems the plan is to introduce four dog breeds and two cats breeds, as selected by the voters. Eventually, Habytat will add a wider variety of pets. They have hinted to include more dog and cat breeds, as well as exotic animals such as giraffes, tigers, lions and monkeys in the near future.
