Outfit7, mastermind behind the entire Talking Tom & Friends franchise, walked away with 2 prestigious awards at the 4th annual Green Game Jam. This annual event is organised by the Playing for the Planet alliance, where gaming studios participate by implementing “green activations” into their games. The theme is changed yearly, aiming to engage players all around the world, inspiring them to take action for our beloved environment. The vision of having an industry that revolves around educating people to act on environmental topics is their main goal.
Outfit7 stood out at the Green Game Jam with their contribution and commitment to raise awareness for ecological issues around the world through their top grossing game, My Talking Angela 2. This particular game received the Industry’s Choice Award and the Most Adoptable Award, for being a true advocate for the environment. In-game events, encouraging players to nurture their plants and flowers in the game were included and well received by the players of 2 of their games – Talking Tom Gold Run and My Talking Angela 2.
