Niantic’s newest AR virtual pet game is now available worldwide since their launch on May 9, 2023. After a long beta testing phase, the creators of Pokemon GO have finally given the green light for the world to experience this phenomenon. These adorable pets come in bright and fun colours, bringing a pop of life to your reality. Your pet Dots are like puppies, just funkier, some have fluffy bellies, horns, or peacock tails. They develop their own personalities and likes based on the amount of time you spend on the game and what traits you unlock.
We are so excited to finally get to hatch a Peridot egg! Baby dots are fairly easy to manage, they just need to be fed and played with. What makes it less stressful is knowing for a fact that Dots do not die. Sure, they may get sad if they are hungry, but nothing a delicious treat cannot fix! Keep up with their needs to gain XP for them to grow up quicker. Their needs change constantly, and they help you navigate through their desires, whether it is a specific type of food they would like or whether it is some place they would like to go.
Niantic has truly gone above and beyond with the AR aspect of the game. Not only is this feature absolutely beautiful, but it is made as such that the Dots interact so realistically in our world. The trick for a smooth run, is to make sure there is a good amount of floor visible, to make it easier for the Dot to gauge what is around. A cluttered space may cause it to glitch and affect the performance of the game. Follow the maps to find places of interests and have an adventure with your little Dot! Don’t forget to take some selfies while you’re at it!
