Pet Run is the pet rendition of the age-old app, Temple Run. In this latest update, just released on the 28th February 2023, you can now feed, clean and play with your pet rabbit, amongst other new features. Along with a few bug fixes, you can now run into a wormhole-like doorframe into a new mine cart world of the Wild West, and also play minigames like Fruit Ninja in your pet’s new recreational room! Generally, the game is now running smoother with improved pet interaction features. Seriously, we can’t get enough.
Extremely similar to Temple Run, you race your chosen pet through different sceneries collecting coins and powerups amongst other things. Run, slide and jump your adorable animal through the park, city, forest, and now, the Wild West! In Temple Run, you choose an avatar and run it, this is literally all you can do in the game. In Pet Run, you get to play, feed, groom and even clean up poop for your furkid. There are new recreational areas added to your pet’s home. Swipe through the different rooms to enjoy doing different things with your pet.
Earn coins through collecting and smashing piñatas, mystery boxes, and the most obvious of all, running! The more you run, the more coins you will earn, and you can even watch ads to double your coin score after a game. Earn or find hammers to upgrade your pets’ homes. For every fully upgraded home, you’ll unlock the chance to build another. There is really no running out of things to do in this game. Every achievement or small win leads to something even bigger and better. Plus, there’s just lots to do because of the never-ending number of pets you can unlock as you progress through the game.
The running is exhilarating, and the grooming is extremely relaxing. Best of both worlds in a single game.
