Wobbledogs Freshly Released on the Nintendo Switch

Your desperate cries have been heard! Wobbledogs, the ridiculously hilarious game that was first launched on Steam in March 2022, has just made its way onto the Nintendo Switch this 17th November 2022. This 3D pet simulation game has gained the attention of people of all ages who want a strange and unique way to care for their virtual pets. These wobbly dogs start out relatively normal, but rapidly breed and mutate into dogs with funny behaviours.

In this chaotic hive, you get to decorate a string of rooms to your liking. Create a place for your dogs to sleep or run through a maze. This game is never-ending and has no specific goal, so you can choose what you’d like to give priority to first. Watch them mutate, raise eggs and go about their canine antics as they grow. You’ve got absolute control of everything down to their gut health. They develop new character traits based on the food they eat, and you can manipulate this to create your ideal pup.

With an overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam, it is no wonder why Wobbledogs has made its way to other platforms within a year of release. Most of its ratings are pretty positive and players are describing it to be “love at first play”! It has even got its own line of fan merchandise!

That being said, there are reports of some technical issues on the Nintendo Switch version. If too many pens and tunnels are added to the layout, the game starts becoming a bit glitchy, and sometimes would freeze. Players are also complaining about the clumsiness of the controls, where they can’t select the intended pup accurately, and because there are so many of them running around, this can prove to be problem. However, the game on the Switch is more for those who don’t mind more of an idle playstyle. There’s very little for players to do consistently, just generally keeping an eye on the pups to trigger their pupation state, and making sure they don’t go hungry.
