Be the one to bring it from tamago to hero! This is not your average virtual pet game! Yes, you will be the one to hatch it, feed it and take care of it, but this little egg is also capable of becoming a legendary hero! Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago, will be released very soon as a mobile app on both iOS and Android platforms, and as a PC game on Steam. There is no specific release date just yet, but we know it will be happening quite soon, because you can add it to your Wishlist on Steam.
This virtual pet and RPG hybrid game has opened up an avenue for both demographics of players. Not for the faint of heart when it comes to nostalgia, as Yolk Heroes captures that vintage Nintendo Game Boy aesthetic.
So, the story goes a little bit like this. The Fairy Queen is in dire need of your help. The aim is for you to raise your Yolk Hero from an egg to a glorious elfin warrior, to become the queen’s Guardian Spirit and finally, battle the Dark Lord. Upon the Dark Lord’s defeat, you will bring peace to the land and all its dwellers. As the Guardian Spirit to the Fairy Queen, your sole responsibility is to guide and look after the heroes of the realm. Protect them and help them face the dark terrors of the world.
Apart from these stressful missions and the immense pressure the Fairy Queen is putting on you, this game is rather charming. All heroes need a break, in between world redemption and being a top role model, you can relax and enjoy your little elf friend. You would probably only need to check in on him a couple of times a day to keep your hero fed and happy. This does not mean danger won’t come knocking on your door, heroes do fall after all. In the case of a fallen hero, no need to fret, the Fairy Queen will happily reincarnate your hero into a new egg!
